Monday 14 September brought the brethren together for Past(a) Masters Night, an evening in honour of the Past Masters who have led Galileo.
It was a proud night for one family. A Lewis, the son of a Mason, was initiated into the lodge while his father, a brother of Galileo, looked on. Several visitors joined us, among them a brother from the Grand Orient of Italy.
The festive board was everything Galileo is known for: good food and wine, homemade salami and limoncello, and music through the evening.
As we said the next day: a night to remember.
